Driving from Lauceston to Hobart, you will pass a few old towns such as Perth, Evandale, Oatlands, Ross, Campbell Town, Kempton and Pontvillie along the Heritage Highway. They are part of the history of Tasmania. You may not be able to go back in time but it is worth slowing down and enjoy the historical atmosphere in those old towns. Having a beer in an old pub or staying overnight in a cottage - they are not the experiences you can have in a modern cities on this state island.
