It is the largest city in the west coast also a place with all sort of lifestyles - great food and beautiful beaches. If it is still not enough, a short trip to Fremantle will make some difference. From there you can take a ferry to Rottest Island where the locals go to swim at white-sand beaches, snorkel in turquoise water over shipwrecks, or kick back and go fishing.
